Rooted In the Past, Bearing For the Future

Thank you to everyone who made the Rooted In the Past, Bearing For the Future event a great success. The students and their sponsors did a great job with the displays. Our panelist made some good points about "sign up, show up". We wished for more community members to attend and support the students, but perhaps next year will be better attended. “I really liked the tree idea.”

“It was so interesting to see the students who were involved in a number of organizations.—this from a political candidate who attended.

“The kids did such a good job presenting their organizations.”

“It was difficult to pick 5 to display at the Scavenger hunt event.”

“I wish our school could do something like this.”  Yes we did have people from at least three other schools attend.

“The panel did a great job making some very valid points”.

“I hope the students take note of the points the panel made.”
